Roger Sinha is the 2011 winner of the Kathryn Ash Choreographic Commission, given to a choreographer who has been selected by the School of Toronto Dance Theater to create a new work for the students.
The piece
Tono, created by Sandra Laronde from the company Red Sky and co-choreographed by Roger Sinha was presented at the Beijing Olympics and the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad. Most recently, the show was invited to perform at the World Expo in Shanghai in May 2010.
